Family & Friends® CPR and Go Life Savers, LLC exists to equip, empower, and inspire all people to be rescue-ready in any given situation everyday, everywhere.

The American Heart Association (AHA) Family & Friends® CPR Course, facilitated by professional educators Mark (MBA, BSN, RN) & Michele Hughes (M.Ed.). This non-certification course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block for adults, children, and infants. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.

Family & Friends® CPR Course Format…

Family & Friends® CPR is a classroom-based course taught by AHA Instructors Mark & Michele Hughes who desire to share the lifesaving skills of CPR, use of an AED, and Choking with others. This course is instructor/video-led and includes skills practice throughout the course. Skills are taught by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows participants to practice on state-of-the-art training manikins while skills are demonstrated in the course video and/or by the instructor(s).

Course topics are presented together and all optional modules are presented in this 1-day/2-hour class.

Each successful class participant will receive a Family & Friends® Certificate of Participation. This is a non-certification course.

The Family & Friends® CPR class is an orientation to CPR and does not offer an American Heart Association course completion card.
